Halalisana Incubator in Humansdorp was envisioned as a digital and innovation space to uplift local entrepreneurs and youth. Funded by SEDFA, the goal was clear—but the facility had no ICT infrastructure, no connectivity, and no equipment to support digital programs.

The Dell Foundation sought to create real, career-ready opportunities for young people in South African townships through technology skills training. The target group 20 learners from under-resourced communities had the drive but limited exposure to coding, AI, and industry-level digital skills.
